CleanerShake: Privacy Policy & End-User License Agreement

Effective Date: February 25, 2026

PART 1: PRIVACY POLICY

CleanerShake is built on the architecture of "Non-Intrusive Utility." Our mission is to refine your device's performance without ever infringing upon your personal digital territory.

Decentralized Processing and Permissions

CleanerShake specializes in the identification and removal of redundant APK files, residual data, and system caches.

The Permission: To execute these tasks, the app requires "All Files Access."

Localized Logic: Every scan, analysis, and deletion occurs entirely on your physical device. We do not possess the infrastructure to upload, mirror, or inspect your file names or contents. Your storage is an air-gapped environment as far as our developers are concerned.

Technical Telemetry and Third-Party Integration

To ensure technical stability and monitor our global distribution, CleanerShake utilizes limited third-party services. These platforms process technical metadata, not your personal files.

Firebase (Google): Employed for crash diagnostics. If the application encounters a fatal error, a pseudonymized technical log (e.g., OS version, hardware model) is generated to help our team stabilize the software.

Analytics & Attribution (e.g., Adjust, AppsFlyer): These tools allow us to verify the source of an installation. They process device-level identifiers such as your Advertising ID (GAID or IDFA).

Technical Boundary: These partners are contractually prohibited from accessing your storage or associating technical events with your real-world identity.

Legal Foundations for Data Processing

Our handling of information—however limited—is conducted under the following legal frameworks:

Contractual Necessity: Local processing of file metadata is required to provide the cleaning and optimization features you have requested.

Legitimate Interests: We use pseudonymized technical identifiers to maintain a secure software environment and to measure the commercial viability of our growth strategies.

Your Global Privacy Rights

CleanerShake respects your authority over your data through the following guarantees:

Right of Access: You may request a summary of the personal data we hold. Since your files are local, you have direct access to them; for technical interaction logs held by partners, you may contact our DPO.

Right to Rectification: You may demand the correction of any inaccurate or incomplete personal/technical data we or our partners process.

Right to Know About Sharing: You have the right to know if your data is shared. CleanerShake only shares non-identifiable technical signals with the operational partners listed in Section 2.

Right to Know About Selling: You have the right to know if your data is sold. CleanerShake does not, and will never, sell your personal or technical data.

Right to Erasure (Deletion): You can request the total deletion of your data. Uninstalling CleanerShake immediately wipes all local scan logs. For technical partner logs, our DPO can facilitate a deletion request.

Right to Lodge a Complaint: You have the explicit right to contact a regulatory authority or data protection supervisor in your jurisdiction if you believe our practices violate your rights.

Retention Protocols: Time and Context

Operational Metadata: Information identified during a scan is ephemeral; it exists in the device’s temporary memory only during an active session and is purged when the app is closed.

Technical Telemetry: Non-identifiable data held by third-party partners is retained for the minimum period required for aggregate performance analysis—typically 12 to 24 months—before being purged or fully anonymized.

Choice and Opt-Out Mechanisms

We provide you with the tools to remain invisible to commercial monitoring:

Opting Out of Sharing/Selling: While we do not "sell" data, you can prevent technical sharing by enabling "Limit Ad Tracking" (iOS) or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" (Android) within your system settings.

Revoking Permissions: You may withdraw storage access at any time through your device settings, which will instantly terminate all scanning capabilities.

Data Protection Officer (DPO)

We have appointed a DPO to supervise our privacy standards and handle all user inquiries regarding data sovereignty.

DPO Name: Dominic Thorne
